Johnson got a bad rep for no other reason than playing at Ole Miss. he served us well

Really? Our OL was not very impressive. A recruit told me personally that Johnson was terrible and probably the reason for him not committing to State

I am pretty sure we will get an OL coach who has worked in the Air Raid before, potentially Leach’s OL coach at Wazzu.

I liked his recruiting but his O-line got beat a lot against teams they should have had some success against. The Tennessee game for one. You have an All SEC Running Back and he can’t get more than 13 yards on 11 carries? That’s pathetic. They got beat all game. They also got embarrassed against Louisville after Kentucky ran for over 500 on them. I wanted to love the guy but his group just wasn’t very good.

That’s funny. Johnson sucked. None of our OL play improved at all. Prove it.

Johnson would be the first guy I fired for sure. The O line play has to improved consistently. It was terrible.

Anyone thought about John Bond joining his staff in some capacity? I mean he’s the one that reached out to Leach through Mumme and got this thing rolling. He’s been coaching a few years and knows the state and is pretty well liked. Maybe off the field in recruiting and/or QB or otherwise. Just a thought.

Someone obviously never watched a game. Just go back and watch the bowl game to re-evaluate your belief that he served us well. The o-line got beat by much smaller guys there entire game. Don’t get me started on the UT game.
