And the whole way the thing gets drawn up and then played out is about as close to perfect as you can get in sports. While we could argue about going to quarters, the officiating… the whole bubble watch down the stretch, selection Sunday, and the actual tournament are just 17ing perfect.

The best two days of the sports year are the Thursday and Friday of the tournament.

Saving grace of college basketball

Regular season is near trash. NCAA tournament is one of the more exciting events in sports. Produce or go home hides a lot of flaws in the game and teams and individuals end up playing above their ceiling. It's awesome.

My favorite part is when a big underdog is winning in the second half and the crowd turns on the favorite and starts cheering for the upset.
