Could we be in the mix for this kid who was released from his LOI from Uconn?

And a 4 star pg just decommited from VCU. Not sure if he's following the coach to LSU but it seems like we have an opportunity to jump on some of these guys.

Dont even believe were in the mix. Would be cozy. A lot of solid PGs decommitting lately. Landing one could prove great for us along with Coreys progression this year.

I think because they liked the assistant who left plus the poor season. Combo

I think UCONN is now beginning to experience the problem with their not being in a Power 5 conference. The basketball program may be now experiencing the decline seen in the football program.UCONN desperately needs to connect with a Power 5 or re-join the Big East for basketball. At least its basketball program would remain relevant.

First place I thought of when he decommitted-------loved his game when I saw him.

Sidebar to this Providence note -- I thought for sure that Providence alum John Thompson Jr. would insist that Georgetown hire Ed Cooley as their new head coach.

His name came up as soon as the job opened but the 'Shaka Smart is interested in Georgetown' bs overshadowed Cooley.

He could insist all he wants there was no way Cooley was leaving Providence. Especially for another team in his conference where he would have to face the player's he recruited.

But they are in the Big East, are a small private school, with a small fanbase. What gives?

Their average home attendance is double what Rutgers is. Also the Big East has consistently been one of the top three conferences since the break up that's what gives.
