I'm watching the FSU vs Boston College game. Mack has been outstanding explaining plays both on offense and defense for both teams. I noticed this a few weeks ago, but didn't mention it. I give credit where credit is due................

Well he's incredibly knowledgeable and given the fact that he's not under any stress or having to face the Sooners tonight he should do very well with his broadcasting duties

I'm just glad that bastard can't call and talk to the color guy doing an OU Big 12 championship game live like they did at least twice I remember.

Does anyone remember when Barry Switzer did a guest host spot in the 80's? It was in a bowl game and he was terrible. He had a cold or was sick. I think it was a major bowl game (Help).
His announcing partner asked him what he would call in a key part of the game. Switzer said I would give it to Joe Washington. HA! Wrong answer,he wasn't breaking down the game he was announcing, and Joe wasn't playing. I don't think he ever announced another game.
Brown just explained a cross block that FSU executed that I didn't see until the replay. I like that, John Madden stuff..............

Did you adjust the color to make Mack's teeth look white? (This at the expense of his skin color which turns purple).
Agreed that Mack comes off pretty well in the broadcast booth. The same schmaltzy charm that served him so well as a recruiter is evident. As a previous poster said, give credit where it's due.
Word!!! He was an OC and HC, he should know all of that.
