My first impression is that this may not be a ridiculous idea for Texas.

What sort of impact would this have for OU Football? Good/Bad?

I'd be surprised if the bring him on board as OC. Maybe bring him in as a "consultant" for Jay Norvell, but that's about it.

Why would the forced out former head coach return as the OC? So yes this is a ridiculous idea for Texas.

Not to mention Mack Brown hasn't called plays in 25 years.

Please let them put Mac in as AD before they figure out what is wrong down there. I know a healthy texas would be good for the B12, but I'm having too much fun watching the train wreck.
