yes tomorrow night, I have no idea how much they charge or how good it is but they really should be handing out free bowls...it wont take many volunteers as the crowd should be in the usual 1k range

Maybe Kevin "Mac" Connell and the "Cheese" head who sat in the 200's and started RU chants many years ago are coming back?

Isn't Chresehead a priest now? I didn't know they sold mac and cheese.

I used to sit between him and dahntay's parents behind the bench in the cheese head's first year. I'll never forget when uncle bob gave him a basketball at the end of the season. Good times.

I'll be ready for concession gripes part III

Pls don't blame Mom this time around. We know that it's you who is jonesing for the cut rate food deals from RU. Try not to expect a Zagat rated experience.

I can only imagine how badly the volunteers will screw up a mac n cheese promotion. Probably should get there early to avoid being even more disappointed when they run out of product.

If it's anything like the 76ers promotion, macaroni and cheese won't be on the menu at the RAC tonight.

The RU PR folks really need to explain the promotion. If they are seeking donations, it needs to be explained in the release.

haha wow...yeah they don't really explain what it is...I notice some sort of combo meal deal on Wednesday wonder what that is. I also assume tix are $2 which probably loses money

WTF???? Should I bring a box of mac and cheese and shake it? I would consider this to be more dangerous if I throw it than a bottle water.

Will be interesting if RU is looking for Mac n cheese donations from fans. Some hungry fans will be pretty disappointed if that's the case.

May have to fall back on the sausage sandwiches or hot dogs. A guy that used to sit in front of me always bought the sausage sandwich before games at the RAC. It was pretty gross. After that experience I vowed never to buy one.

Called the tix office and they actually seemed unsure. The guy who I was talking to put me on hold to check, came back and said 'I THINK they are selling them at the concession stands'. Nothing like your ticket and promotion office being on top of it [cheers]

Serious question. How can a sausage sandwich look gross? Pretty much every sausage sandwich looks the same (see photo below) to me. Sometimes the quality of the meat can be questionable, but I don't think I could ever call a sausage sandwich gross just by looking at it.

Actually what bothered me most about the sausage sandwich at the RAC was the smell of it. The visual that followed the scent just added to my negative impression of it.

But hey, maybe I'm wrong. Can anyone who has eaten one at the RAC want to recommend it to others ?
