Our guy had his best game as a pro for my hometown Pistons last night. 14 points, 5 boards and 3 assists in 28 minutes off the bench. He made some big shots down the stretch and stayed in the game as the Pistons sealed the win in the fourth.

He's been buried on the depth chart, but he's clearly already a better player than Reggie Bullock, who has been his main competition for minutes. I'm hoping he sticks in the rotation once Stanley Johnson comes back from injury, but regardless he's beginning to turn some heads in town which is awesome to see!

No doubt Luke's a "better player" than Bullock. So happy for Luke, because of the perserverance hes shown, after being buried on bench and briefly sent to G League. Good for Luke!

If he defends he’ll play a long time in the NBA. A very long time.

They have a lot of perimeter options, unfortunately for Luke, in Detroit. Reggie Jackson, Avery Bradley, Stanley Johnson, even Tobias Harris. All of them are better than Luke right now. He just has to be patient and keep working hard. He’s too good of scorer to be stuck on the bench.
