I am waiting for the FSU vs Virginia game to end so they can transfer coverage over to Louisville vs Tech. Keeping up with the score on the ticker and we are up by 5 in the 1st quarter.

1st quarter ends Cards up 19-12. All the talking heads are talking about how good this Louisville team is. When the ACC network was talking about what all the ACC teams need to do for a News Year resolution. They said Louisville needs not to change a thing. I think we are playing good but there is still room for improvement.
Halftime 44-27 Cards this team is really fun to watch. Randolph is so strong she will drive and get the heck knocked out of her and it doesn’t affect her shot. Berry very talented and a high basketball IQ makes her special. We have Scott and Jones who are both inside and outside threats. Then the 2 bigs Elif and Zeigler are handful for any opponent to handle.
My only disappointment is we only have Zeigler for one year she is a difference maker. In regards to Elif it’s as if the light came on. I mean she has turned into a very impressive big all around.

End of 3rd quarter 70-42 Louisville clicking on all cylinders today. Hardy is pretty tough inside rebounding and scoring. I am glad to see Roberts knocking down some long range shots. She has been in a slump lately and her scoring is really important to the team.
Cards win 85-60 it was Coach Walz 500th win. I talked about how good the players are playing but the coaching staff has done a really good job with this team. I really didn’t know what to expect with this team but I am really happy with what I am seeing.
A month ago I thought we were good, but not great or even real good. I just didn't see anything special, but I'm all in now. I now it is a cliche, but the team looks like it has bought in. Playing for Walz is a challenge, but the reward is that he is a helluva good coach. We have more depth, size and athleticism than in our recent years.
