I hope we come out and play harder to begin the game than what we did against Duke.

Syracuse comes out in a press seeing how much we struggled against Duke. We are doing better against it we have started off with a 8-0 lead

1st quarter over Louisville leads 28-6 and all of Syracuses points are from the foul line nothing from the field.

It won't be easy but keep up the great defensive effort. Basketball is a game of runs and Louisvile is on a good one.

When will these ladies learn that you just can't turn and shoot over someone 3-4 inches taller than you.

Halftime and Syracuse has cut the lead to 6 points and they have the momentum at the half. I hope we do a better job at handling the press in the 2nd half. Designer has 3 fouls in the first half that could be a game changer if she fouls out. Once again we aren’t getting anything from Roberts.

I thought I typed Seigler but evidently I spelled it wrong and it spell corrected it to designer.

The first quarter Syracuse couldn’t hit any outside shots but they had several 3 pointers in the 2nd quarter.

I don’t know about what to do about Seigler’s situation. Do we start in the 3rd quarter or not. She won’t be as effective on defense because know that Syracuse is going to attack her and she can’t be aggressive. Then we lose her defense and I’d she is out of the game we lose her scoring and rebounding. It is not a good situation.

Seigler not starting the 2nd half Hardy in for her. It will be interesting to see how we do without Seigler.

Hardy didn’t last long and Seigler came back in she is keeping Louisville in the lead. She blocked a Syracuse shot and has hit 2 3 pointers since coming back in.

3rd quarter over cards up by 11. I 2nd guessed CJW when he did substitutions with 10 seconds left. He took Seigler and Jones out and put Elif and Berry in. Well it was a good call because Berry stoled the ball and passed it to an open player for a layup.

Cards up by 18. Seigler and Berry doing a lot of damage to Syracuse both playing great defense and knocking down 3 pointers.

4:50 left Zeigler and Elif back in the game together and Berry terrorizing the Syracuse players.

We have a really good team where we can put 5 players on the court at the same time who can score. To me the difference makers are Seigler and Berry. Both of them can really affect the outcome of the game. Final score 84-65 Cards.

Replays with 3 minutes to go while we are up 16 points really annoy me - especially when they clearly get the review wrong.

Roberts shot a 3 as time was expiring on the shot clock that missed most of the rim, and in real time it really was difficult to tell whether it hit the rim or not. The refs decided to go review it, and it’s very clear from the replay that the shot hits a glancing blow against the back edge of the rim. Yet the refs review it and determine that it didn’t touch the rim.

Why even watch the replay if they aren’t going to consider overturning the call? And why on earth are refs who are making the calls allowed to review their own calls?

The thing that bothers me about the refs in every game is that they won’t call a foul when you basically get mugged. However they will go down at the other end and call a touch foul. They also don’t call walking or moving screens as much as they should. I don’t know if that is what the NCAA is telling them because they want to keep the game moving or what. As for me just play by the rules of the game.

It appears that what is a foul in the first 39 minutes of the game is not a foul in the last minute of the game. Referees should not have the attitude "I don't want to decide the outcome of the game" but what you said, enforce the rules recordless of when they are violated.
