Big difference between an agreement hung up in red tape vs. a deal that is still being negotiated.

Hopeful that's where we are on Knight - just wrapping it up.

Rothstein's tweet was a few hours after Zagoria's. If it were the other way around, I'd be concerned.

RU is probably just doing their due diligence with a through back ground investigation. Like confirming he has the college degree he claims he has and making sure there aren't any old allegations that he harassed and bullied his players........

Stuff takes time and no one with any official capacity has denied that he is getting hired, so I wouldn't worry.

Not sure that is a good comparison. As I recall Shoes was a fall back candidate and was only hired after Jordan struck trying to attract an assistant from other P5 schools.

Shoes wasn't on Jordan's first staff. He had Cox, Macon, and O'Koren. It was O'Koren who wasn't named until around July which was ridiculous.
