Looking to Delaware for Some Inspiration

We all know what NC State did in the ACC and NCAA tournaments last year, but there's a similar story unfolding now in the Colonial. Obviously, it's not the ACC or B1G, but neither is Delaware a P5 team so to some extent its all relative.

Anyway, the Blue Hens entered the CAA tournament as the 12 seed on a six game losing streak and with an overall losing record. They've won 4 straight, including an upset of the No. 1 seed, to get into tonight's final and a shot at the NCAA tournament.

We've still got hope for one more day at least! A nice run could at least get us to Vegas. Go RU!

Pike needs to be starting the process of building a roster ASAP. Having to wait 2 weeks puts is at a huge disadvatabge

I imagine that most of the top programs that we’ll be competing with will also be occupied during the relevant time period, unfortunately for a better reason.

I don’t expect that there would be a huge disadvantage because the kids will still be hearing from those other schools., as well as us, and the better ones aren’t likely to commit until they get an idea what everyone has to offer.

If three of your suitors are playing in the NCAA tournament, are you going to give them a fair shot or are u going to close the door and commit to a team that didn’t make the tournament?

I think it would be great if the kids can extend their season and get to play together and travel together a little longer, wherever that might be.

Season's over, while they'll likely beat USC, they've done nothing in 2 games against Purdue that provides any hope they can pull an upset there. We just don't match up well with them.

Wonder where that frosh (#8?) will be playing next year. He looked pretty good.
