Such a stupid post, bad fouls called can & do change the momentum of the game & can stop a rally or bench the most important player on the team. As to even out on foul calls, that sometimes happens & sometimes does not happen, but bad foul calls can decide a game & has a negative impact on all games. Your belief that the referees are infallible is wrong. Plus you are the one whining every time the subject comes up.
There isn't a game that goes by that the OP doesn't complain about the refs. That goes for Women's soccer, field hockey etc etc. Doing it before the game even begins is next level. It's really ridiculous. If we lose it will be because Iowa makes more shots than us. Just like when we lose in soccer, it's because our team doesn't put the ball in the back of the net.
Stupid is calling the fix in before we even play. You need to adjust to how the game is being called. Stop falling back on whiny ***** excuses
When I see such ridiculous differential in foul shots like that I think there should be a rule that a team can take a maximum of 10 more foul shots than their opponent. If they are fouled and up10 four shots already the fouling player and team are charged with the foul but the fouled team only gets to inbound the ball.
Take a look at how many three pointers Michigan took. They didn't deserve to shoot many FTs.

‘It all evens out’ - how this can ever be said after putting up with Burr, Higgins, etc. for decades I dunno.
I'm on Bac's side of this. Virtually every fan base feels they get slighted every game. Which means in every game at best, half the fans are wrong.
Really good teams rarely complain as they are good enough to overcome bad calls. And bad calls happen in every game against every team.
So complaining about refs just seems like an easy excuse in most cases. Yes, there are times when horrible calls impact a game. But when we complain EVERY GAME about refs, it just screams small time excuse making.
Overall a decent half by the zebras.

There has been no consistency at all and how this game has been called. It's like another Universe this half. And we are definitely getting f*****.
