I don’t want to get my hopes up, but for some reason I feel good about tomorrow. I’ll be happy with whatever happens but a close game would be great. A victory ? Who knows. But let’s think about this, Michigan has not beaten the spread this year (although large spreads) and RU has throughly beaten the spread so far. An underperforming Michigan team vs an interesting, overachieving RU. Last time it took 4 seasons to reach respectability. This is year 4. Bring me a game a la 2021 and I think this RU team wins that game. Let’s go RU!!!

No issue with liking our chances. Optimism is fine. But then he supports that with ‘history vs the spread’, which isn’t relevant.

You know damn well what the relevance is.

And yes, I get that the spread is a number made to move to protect the house. But it is also a fairly close number to the expectation.
His point is to say we have performed better than expected and they performed worse.
He was also pretty clear he understands that doesn’t really mean a thing but just has him in a good positive place for the game.
Can’t you let a single person feel good?

No feelings hurt here lol. I just think RU is a little better than people expected and UofM a bit overrated. Hopefully I don’t eat my words later today lol.

I wouldn’t read too much into UM’s schedule or their performance vs. the spread this year. The games were in hand by the end of third quarter and they sat guys in some cases or went to a vanilla playbook. I still think we’re a better team than we have been so we’ll see what happens.

My suggestion if it goes south is to stay out of the game thread

My advice is to start drinking heavily.

I don't drink. I don't feel very different if RU wins or loses most games . Should we pull the win today, I will be more euphoric than usual since we are such huge underdogs.
