That dude has problems. Sticks his *** out on UNC player passing by. I guess he still can't control his immature antics. #cheapplayer.

Got a flagrant 1. Good.

Waiting all season for that moment?

That type of thing happens every game just usually in the post and not in open court. Game officials didn't even see it happen and had to watch video.

I saw it live and frankly thought the refs completely butchered it. Allen tried to steal the pass and bumped into the UNC player. I was kinda shocked they didn’t call a foul immediately instead of letting the play go on. To then call it a flagrant because you’re able to slow it down frame by frame was kinda bs. You see forwards clear men out to create a lane for a driving pg all the lain doing a similar move. Awkward play yes, not a flagrant

Doing that under the basket going for a rebound in traffic to create a space is one thing but like that to a guy running up court...that's cheap. Did I think worthy of a f1...no. But when you consider the source..

I didn't realize the didn't see it. I must have just been distracted as it happened myself. But don't they have to either let it go or call f1 there? Can't give a common foul on review after the fact?

It looked intentional to me on the replay. Not sure what he thought he was accomplishing there. Chippy play from a kid with a history of such antics.

It was absolutely intentional but the result was unfair to Duke at the same time. Had the call been made promptly UNC would have gotten 2 shots plus the ball. Instead, because the call was delayed they got the opportunity to score, which they did, then 2 shots plus the ball. Possible 6 point play.

He’s about as mature as a 10 year old. I’m surprised someone really hasn’t gotten into his head in a big game yet. I hope it happens.

If that flagrant were called against pretty much anyone but Grayson Allen we’d all be posting about what a horrible call it was.

That call was about as butchered as it comes. First off, how did they not see that in broad day light? It’s not like he wasn’t by the ball. Second, no way that’s a flagrant foul. Chippy play for sure, but not a flagrant one

After the whole senior night love fest for him at Cameron and with Coach K singing his praises of how he's matured, a week later he makes them all look like a-holes by proving once again that he's a punk.

like this in midcourt.

Open court deliberate foul combined with potential injury. Why would you not call it a deliberate foul? Allen clearly has problems. I'm guessing they will get sorted out quickly at the next level.

It happens at midcourt from time to time and games as well. Usually when someone setting a ball screen and a big man will try to hit him with his hip and almost always gets called for a foul.

Russ, last time I saw a guy set a mid-court pick that extreme was when the guy punched Corey in the mouth lol...(that was clearly much worse of course)

This kid is one of the dirtiest players to come along in some time. When you go throigh life as a complete douchebag, you get the detriment of the doubt. He deserves to.

If he's fortunate, it will be sorted in training camp. Still remember his meltdown on the sidelines after tripping an opponent. He might learn from being clotheslined, but then again--

The fact that the call benefited the University of No Classes makes me sick.

PLLEEEASSEE...Jealous/envious like a lot of others here. Rutgers could only HOPE to come close to the "university of no classes'' academic (consistently top 20 or above-and #1 nationally often enough) and athletic success. State pride and in-state reputation for their state university is tops in the country vs arguably LAST for RU.

I seem to recall a player get kicked off the Rutgers football team for failing to show up at "music appreciation" only to have the coach seemingly attempt to influence the grade. Also Rutgers had a Allen type of a player back in the early 90s-Donnell Lumpkin-who managed to get into a fight almost every game. The worst was when he cursed opposing fans who threw DRINKS at him and another RU player who threw the drinks back into the stands. Such things are very embarrassing (the prior made a national video show) and hurt schools/programs.

Allens behavior and attitude aren't to uncommon amongst the prep school like wealthy like population that oft attends Duke (and we saw some of that with all of the accusations that one year re Duke Lacrosse).

I apologize for the one time in two calender years I missed a class (night law class- I taped it)
at the "university of no classes " as Bruce was playing on campus that night. I had a 99.9 ATTENDENCE RATE over 20+ years of school and grad school until my accounting class w the former chancellor of higher education in NJ
