I know there are a couple on here. Mo Salah was substituted with a suspected hamstring injury during an AFCON match today. God I hate international soccer. No word yet on how bad it is.

17, 17, 17. As much as I hate international soccer in season , how the hell do Africa & Asia get to hold long tournaments that don’t even have to abide by the international dates & take players away from their teams for a month in season?

the only good thing here is whatever time he’ll be out, he would have been out anyway for a good bit of it.

I was just going to post that. Hopefully the Egyptians are telling the truth. International teams have been known to, shall we say, bend the truth a bit, when it comes to injuries.

His agent says 3-4 weeks now.

And he's back in Liverpool. Long term, looks like a better situation than him playing for the next 3 weeks. Instead he can rest and rehab and be fresh for the last 3 months of the season.
