It was trending that way, but when Trump was elected, the Conservatives had a 30+ point lead in the polls. The 51st state rhetoric galvanized the liberal party up there and they came roaring back and won the election last night for PM. It sounds like they’re going to fall short of the seats needed for an unrestricted majority and will have to team up with the NDP or Quebecois party to form a majority. Regardless, the Conservatives are a minority again and Trump will be getting zero help from up north.

I know Trump says a lot of stuff just to piss liberals/democrats off and I really enjoy them crying.
I wish he would calm some of it down because it turns many moderate leaning left against him and to a greater degree it turns them off to moderate Republicans in Democrat leaning districts.
Hopefully this is not a warning to us in the midterms.
Now you know we will be called all kind of names for disagreement with Trump. Im sure I will be called a ccp spy and hit with 10,000 off topic tweets( X) that's been posted in every thread twice .

Trump won his election here in the United States. Canada is owned by the EU and China. Until their people get tired of that fact they will continue to suffer hardship and have limited freedoms. Canada picked their team. Personally I wouldn't care if we put an embargo on them until they become a better ally. It's not like they aren't running Fentayl into our Country for the CCP.
