This era of Rutgers basketball is new for most of us. We've become accustomed to let downs and bad teams except for the gary waters teams and id like to say it has made us a stronger and deserving fan base to see the level of success we are now getting.

That being said, there are going to be higher expectations. With higher expectations everything gets looked at closer and through a microscope sometimes.

We were never going to go undefeated, and we weren't going to have every call or bounce go our way. So let's not blame every loss now on the refs or on a specific player or play. We will get our fair share of bounces and calls in due time. Enjoy the ride but we can't whine and complain every time we lose.

Lets go Knights and Enjoy the ride! Pike is building a program, this isn't a one a done situation.

Agree 1000%. Every game will have a variety of factors as to why we win/lose. Officiating is just one of them. It seems each fan base has their beef with the officiating, but let’s not have that be our identity.

While I agree Ohio st was atrocious, I felt yesterday was way more fair. Did Garza get a good whistle? Yes but he's a POY candidate that happens at every level if you're that good!

No power five conference team goes undefeated anymore. There will be losses. You are going to lose some games in the Big Ten. Just have to keep them to a minimum and learn from them

Losing a game that should have been a win is my concern. There will be other games where the opponent simply dominates and the outcome won't be in doubt.Bottom line in a league with so much parity every game result is very important. It effects B1G rankings and NCAA seeding.

not concerned at all. We lost because of missing OpEN shots at the 3 point line and one point line. I don’t blame myself at losing at Yahtzee because on the final roll I failed to get 3 sixes and I didn’t get the 35 point upper bonus.

if our 3s were contested OR we played bad D OR we lost 50/50 balls I am concerned. That didn’t happen.

time to look forward to the next game and maybe we get Yahtzee and win by 20.

I've only seen RU sustain one (maybe you could argue two) such domination(s) in the past two years so while it's possible, I'm not actually counting on it

Can we go a couple of hours without another self-important poster lecturing us on proper board etiquette? It's ponderous.

Agree to an extent. We are in uncharted waters . I presently feel we will win every game we play. That has never happened before. I believe we are as good but mostly better than any one in our conference. I am shocked when we lose at the RAC with or without fans. I am also smart enough to know we will lose some games and it might be that the conference champ has 5-6 losses because of how good this conference is. With those added expectations , more people will scrutinize and focus on a couple of plays or foul shots that cost us a game. We are not perfect as a team ,and free throw shooting is one of our Achilles Heel, but we do a lot of things really well and are a really good team. Those higher expectations bring more scrutiny but they are still college kids , although an older, more experienced bunch, but my belief is they will take us to special places this year.

Does anyone under 50 know how to play Yahtzee?

I agree with you. We had open shots from 3. The problem with foul shots for our team is that they seem to not really be FREE. Also, you must not know how to use your wrist properly while playing Yahtzee. :)

We will be fine. Tuesday is a big game psychologically.

Best of Luck,
Groz

I think the line might be better drawn at 40. Any Gen Xer with Boomer parents will know Yahtzee. First millennials are just now starting to turn 40. I’m 44 and my 40 year old sister and I certainly know it.
Yeah, agree. I’m 41 and I know Yahtzee. Played it all the time with my older siblings as a kid.
