This was handled the right way. People are on Brackey and others for bowing to the NCAA and not fighting back like the Sharks or UNC. But the point is I think we are better off working with the NCAA and taking what we agree on quickly, accept our punishment and move on. It’s NOT going to affect our recruiting or otherwise.
Think of OM and fighting it for 2-3 years. Yeah they challenged the NCAA and got off light but the truth and the damage was out there and done. So are they better off because they fought it for 3 years and fell vindicated? Their program is in ruins.
I’m good with what we did. Take the high road and deal with losing a starter or two and good backups. We will be fine.
