I used to love explaining that to young drivers with tickets. Often they asked that their parents not find out (especially if the parents were friends of mine) and I always explained that they didn’t need to worry about me telling their parents because there would be so many letters coming to their homes they couldn’t possibly be first to the mailbox all the time. This was also a frequent conversation with wives who didn’t want their husbands to find out.
Lee County is a good county to get a high speed ticket in, judges there will work with you. Post/Fouschee or John Holmes Jr. will get you squared away. I am a reformed traffic attorney and would be happy with either of those handling a matter for me.
