LCA beat Harrisonburg 1-0 yesterday to win 4A West.

(19 year old) Noah Cook and Christian Gordon made sure no walk-off was required Friday afternoon.

Cook’s leadoff home run in the third inning accounted for the game’s lone run, Gordon retired the final 10 batters he faced and LCA defeated Harrisonburg 1-0 in the region championship game.

Cook, a (5th year senior) VMI signee, gave Gordon all the run support he needed by smashing a curveball off Harrisonburg starter Kevin Narvedo over the netting in left field to lead off the bottom of the third inning.
