Per ESPN:

Navy is the highest-ranked Group of 5 champion
Navy goes to the Cotton Bowl, Western Michigan plays North Texas in the Heart of Dallas Bowl, and Army plays a Big 12 team, most likely Baylor, in the Armed Forces Bowl.

That would simplify things. It keeps us out of Dallas but there are other good options for TU.

I haven't seen that re: Baylor. Have seen it recently for Texas. They say they will decline at 5-7.

Feel bad for those kids actually.

I thought Baylor was to not accept a bowl bid.
They have "reconsidered" and funny thing is Grobe has basically checked out as coach as has the team. They haven't even been competitive in its last 3 games and somehow they beat OSU

I don't get how an Oklahoma Sate team that's lost to Baylor and CMU is only one spot behind OU who has two of the best losses in the country other than Wisconsin. We'll see what happens tomorrow. But Oklahoma has played like a top ten team this year. Oklahoma State has played like a 15-20 ranked team.

UNT would beat WMU, just not by the lobsided score that most teams would.

OSU is much better than they were vs CMU and that loss was as bad as our UH and Navy losses in terms of ref foul ups.

I don't see them winning but if they can hit some deep passes on OU's corners they'll have a chance at the end.

Yeah.. but OU laid an egg in its only important games of the year.. the Big12-2 is nothing but a glorified gang of 6 conference...
