This one was the most egregious besides the punch. The defensive holding I could live with.

It’s the combination of all that is bad. Missed holding calls on their line too.

Is that 3 awful calls against us on 3 straight plays?

1) Holding on Emerson
2) No holding call on our guys about to sack KJ
3) False start on their TD play

Yes probably but go back and watch our plays also for us doing something we got away with. It goes both ways. The fact is you see missed calls on your team but not the other way around.

We lost because we don’t have a kicker worth a ****. Or because we didn’t score a single point in the first quarter.

I agree with what you're saying, but these 3 calls were very bad to make with the game on the line. On Ark's TD, the false start was obvious. Ark had gotten called for it all game, but for some reason at that moment the refs made no call when it was most obvious. Also, Forbes got away with way more contact on a fade route late in the game and there was a no call and there was way less contact on that last play with Burks and Emerson. Burks flailed his arms. You only see flops like that in soccer. I kid you not.

We should have made our FGs earlier, and KJ had a career day against us (83% completion), but we can expect better of our refs.

That holding call on 4th should never be called. Ever.

If Emerson is 3 yards off and burks runs the same route he still slips and even if he doesn’t the ball is no where close to being catchable.
