A one-out double by Thomas Rogers gave the Bruins a runner in scoring position. Feola and Darcy walked to load the bases. Scrubb walked Owens to bring Rogers home. Driscoll's sac fly gave LB a 2-1 lead before Scrubb got out of it.
Scrubb's pitch count is getting up there very quickly.
Scrubb got an infield single on a hot shot to third. A passed ball and a wild pitch led to courtesy runner Trey Bridis going to third, but an attempt to catch Sneed stealing with the ball getting away from second base for a moment allowed Bridis to score the tying run.
Feola legged out an infield single, and a passed ball put him in scoring position. Darcy singled to bring him home. Darcy moved to second on a wild pitch, but Scrubb got two straight strikeouts to end the threat.
RBI single by Lewis and an RBI double by Spruill make it 5-2 Lake Braddock. Spruill then scores on a wild pitch. Now 6-2 going to the bottom of the fifth.
Hylton had runners on second and third after a two-out double by Sneed, but Michael Church got a groundout to end the threat. Lake Braddock 6, Hylton 2, going to the 6th. Scrubb of Hylton has thrown 122 pitches.
An outstanding 6-4-3 double play helps Church, but Meredith doubles in Sneed (who reached on a two-out error) before getting out of it. Lake Braddock now needs three outs. LB 6, Hylton 3, end of 6.
Hylton got a run after a Scrubb double and an error, but Church got Frazier to ground out to end the game. Lake Braddock advances to play the winner of Kellam / James River for the title.
