Has anyone else been blocked by him on Twitter? He posted some super snarky comment all butthurt about people being irritated with Cal over the basketball school comments. I commented on it and said Coach Cal's laptop getting riled up. 🤣

And yes, that got me blocked. Dude must be pretty thin skinned.

He blocked me after he posted some amateur-level comment like "good luck scoring on UK next year with Wallace and ____ (I think it was the Texas Tech transfer who didn't end up picking UK) on the perimeter" and I replied, "Really? You say this every recruiting season. You know better by now, these freshmen need time and don't actually shut down the opponent like they do in high school."

That's it. Got blocked. He's a ******.

Tucker is the prime example of somebody who is good at his job but is awful to converse with. And no it a shy, introvert way either. He gets easily offended, doesn’t like when you have a slightly different opinion than him, etc. he thinks his word should be the final say. Which is a mark of insecurity really.

Jones does it some too, but as long as you’re respectful he won’t block you. Tucker hands out more blocks than AD.

Agree completely. Have actually gotten into back and forth a with MJ and we have disagreed but it has been in respectful manners towards each other and he didn’t block me. Can’t even remember what I did to get blocked by Tucker but he’s constantly throwing out blocks and insults to other people. Just not a good person. Have a million times the respect for Jones than Tucker.

The fact many of you have been blocked by someone is Twitter is the least surprising thing I have heard lately.
Actually I’ve not been blocked by Tucker, I did get blocked by a complete nut job that said all teachers should be arrested though. Yeah, he was a whole different level of crazy.

Very rarely comment on Twitter....total cess pool of epic proportions. Really only have it to view recutting updates.

Kyle is good at what he does, while I don't agree with much of his stuff outside of basketball.

You have to remember these guys don't know you personally and probably deal with comments in DM and to tweets that drive them nuts on the reg.

Agree. No fan of Jones but he's nowhere near the jerk Tucker is. Guy is charmin soft.

He is the worst. Super woke, but ultra sensitive. I wish he'd move on to a different role.

Sadly Twitter has a lot of good content for up to date information security news (when you follow the right channels). Otherwise I would never be on there.

Do most on this board prefer Facebook to Twitter for social media? I deleted fb at the end of 2016.

If I see anything that's personal, I figure the poster has issues way beyond basketball. That's what the Ignore feature is for, and Twitter is notorious for allowing personal attacks on people.

A lot of the user experience depends on how you use the platforms, especially who you follow and who you allow to follow you. I limit my Facebook friends to people I actually know, and I limit each post to specific subgroups of friends: coworkers, high school, political, sports, etc. I prefer to choose my audience in this way so that not every post I make results in a spitting contest and so that not everybody gets full access to all of my business. Reverend Lovejoy doesn't need to read my about my Sunday morning tee-time, if you catch my drift.

On Twitter, I block every follower I don't know or whose biography doesn't demonstrate some reasonable overlap with my interests. I stop following persons who post obnoxious stuff.

I know I use social media a lot differently than other people, but I don't care how many followers I have, and I am not gonna waste time in a toxic environment.

Facebook. Too many fake idiots on twittter. No wonder Musk backed out of the deal.
Idiotism is why I deleted fb. My Twitter is pretty well trained. I get up to date news without seeing my family members thoughts on politics.
