I seem to recall that Mike Rice went hard after both of these players in the Class of 2013. I believe Jenkins may have come down to Nova and Rutgers. Correct me if I am wrong.

Rumor was we were in good...damn you Murdock!
Let's be honest. Even if they did come they would have long transferred and the pain of seeing an ex RU player hit the game winner would sting worse.
Praying that matt bullock can be our kris jenkins. Guy without a true position but absolute gamers. I feel like Bulluck would have been a similarly recruited player if he were 2 inches taller. Wishful thinking but why not?!?

I posted this several days ago. Rice was one of the first in on both of these guys and it seemed as if we were leading for both for quite a while. It is all water under the bridge now.

Maybe Jenkins and Hart but no way with Arch all they talked about all tournament was how he grew up a Nova fan and both his parents went there.

Do we all suffer from memory loss or something. Ruce's recruiting class sucked in 2013 before the tapes. We had a pg who was most likely going to de-commit and a juco player. I don't care how "good we had it in" with Hart and Jenkins, we weren't landing them.
what are you talking about? This was the class he brought in that was directly effected by Murdock getting the word out on the street. This was back in 2012 that the Rice stuff was being spread out on the street...I guess sometime in the summer..we went from leading with these guys to scrambling for guys like Severe, Rector, Brown and Griffin.
The tapes came out in April of 2013. If Murdock was really doing that in the summer when he wasn't rehired in 2012, then I concede and agree with you.
Arcidiacono said last week in the Philadelphia Inquirer that he was headed to Florida if not for Wright's offer. Villanova was always where he wanted, but Wright was slow to offer. Otherwise, done to UF, he says.
I recall hearing something similar. Never heard we were involved. Hart and Jenkins were a different story. I think they visited but not sure how close either were to coming here.
As I recall, and I hadn't thought about it much until last week, both Hart and Jenkins were early (and maybe even past that point) leans toward Rutgers, but who can resist Jay's siren song?
