Konkol worse than Phillips?

I voted yes, at least Phillips resigned . I do hate it when guys like Konkol fail because he is a nice guy and does not have the personality of a bitter old drunk like Wilson had
I feel sorry for the new Athletic Director. I hope he knew what he was getting himself into. But, that aside, obviously Konkol is not the answer just like Wilson wasn't. Losing by 32 to UAB is like losing by 47 to that 2-9 team -- AT HOME -- on the last day of the football season. Unacceptable.
Yes he is. By their net ranking, they are a middle of the pack team that is ranked higher than their record has them. their record would be something like 5-7 in football. It still not acceptable to lose to them by 32.
I mean the point was it’s unacceptable to lose to them like that.
I’ve called bill out before but he’s not wrong on this one - we should never lose to rice at home or by 30 to a mid UAB team. Ever.
I was simply pointing out that they are not the equivalent of a 2-9 team. That is an exaggeration.
Well technically yes, but I don’t want a bucket of poop that’s all the way full or one that’s only half full.
I'm not sure JP bottomed out before he resigned so we probably don't know his full "potential". That said, it is literally hard to be much worse than Konkol's first season and this year might have rivaled it if not for the super easy schedule. This might be the worst 6-9 team in history. JP's last 2 teams at least beat some real teams, this team has not done that yet.
Things are bad when we start comparing 4 of the worst seasons in recent (since 1980) history, 2 by Phillips and now 2 by Konkol.
Harry Truman was president the last time we had a season as bad as Konkol's first.
