I was talking with Blair Academy head coach Joe Mantegna today and he mentioned that a coach from Rutgers was expected to stop by next week to see versatile four-star 2017 SF Kodye Pugh. Mantegna did not mention which day next week he expected to see someone from the Rutgers staff.
A late bloomer, Pugh grew up about 40 minutes away from Baltimore and attended Boys Latin last year before transferring to Blair Academy and reclassifying from 2016 to the class of 2017. He's currently ranked the No. 73 prospect in his class having worked his way up from outside the Top 100.
Pugh is a true student-athlete who even does some tutoring on the side. He's interest in digital engineering and architecture.
