He kneeled on extra point...

I understand the logic of doing that (to ensure NCSU will need three scores), but if you're going to do it then why not line up in victory formation and take a knee instead of having a long snap?

Never leave points on the field, especially easy ones. What were the chances that NC State would block the field goal and return it for 2 points? Highly unlikely. Less than 1%. There was still risk in the snap being thrown over the holder's head which could have resulted in NC State scoring points. As long as there is an exchange between the center and the holder, risk of a turnover cannot be 100% mitigated.

What's the chances? You said less than 1%.......what's the chances of kneeling and keeping it a 3 score game? 100%.

Just for clarification a field goal is worth 3 points and the point after kick is worth one point. Not being a jerk. Just clarifying it.
