I know this is HuskerOnline and I bleed red (over blue) as much as the next person. However Kimera Bartee collapsed and died while visting his family in Omaha which is of some news to the entire state. Born in Omaha. Went to Omaha Central. Played baseball for Creighton, including appearing in the CWS. Played in the majors and then was a first base coach for both the Pittsburgh Pirates and most recently the Detroit Tigers at the time of his death.
