Anyone having kids understands.

I don't brag much but will back-slide a bit as I am so proud I have a second valedictorian and a second kid in WVU as well. His freshman orientation is next Friday and I get to attend.

This kid received a healthy WVU scholarship along with several smaller ones from other sources nearly eliminating the need for financial aid (outside of me). It is a great emotion seeing your children starting off on solid ground (and that you wear the gold and blue with them).

And at this moment is running the VA state 4x800 relay track meet. Let's hope his team places.

My kids both graduated last month with degrees and loan payments......and we (meaning my wife and me) have loans which exceed those of both our kids combined. But the good news is that BOTH our kids have jobs already, which is surely a blessing these days.....for them AND us.
