We are wrestling very good hopefully we will continue this type of wrestling against good opponents. Pec tech, kaid a major, Heil pin, Lewallen tech. Blaylock major. It seems there are not a lot of fans there. If we wrestled like this all the time it would sure increase the popularity of wrestling.
Moran a backup 57 lost by decision at 65. Smith 74 got a body lock for the pin. Moore won 8 to 5. Not real impressive. Weigel was impressive16 to 0 in the 1st. White won by major very dominant.

The whole team looked good - much more aggressive compared to other duals. I can sum up the team's performance by what coach Smith yelled to Jacobe - "raise your level !".

Just got home from the match. I scored the match and so I counted up the takedowns and we had 30 takedowns and Kent State had three. Two were scored in the Moran match and Moore gave up a late takedown in the 184 pound match. We looked way more aggressive than we have in some time. John was on all of the wrestlers constantly about being aggressive and going for takedowns and back points. Lewallen had ten takedowns in his match or a third of all takedowns. Pic looked overwhelming as did Weigel. Only 157 and 184 looked less than impressive and Dalton Moran is a 157 pounder wrestling up. Keegan Moore dominated his match for two periods but gave up a takedown late which I am sure did not please John and might mean Marsden next weekend-just surmising. All and all a very dominant performance.
