Kenny Payne Gets My Vote!

[golconda]

Since everyone's throwing out names, I'd like to cast my vote for this guy. Former player on a national championship team Louisville 86', drafted pro player, played on teams around the world, asst. head coach under on of the greatest x's & o's guy at Kentucky and part of a national championship as a coach. Reputation as one of the best recruiters and developers of talent in college basketball. Only criticism is lack of head coaching position, which is a non-factor if you look at his entire coaching career. Full disclosure, this is IMO and from someone with no basketball experience or inside knowledge.

His only quote about potentially leaving UK is "they'd better do their homework....I have a great job".....

Hey if he has a master plan for a culture change the way Ash did then he should be number one choice by far.
