A kid we should go after, I had the opportunity to watch him in person over 40 times during his career. He's from New England and may want to be in a big market and conference. I have followed RU all my life, but adopted Davidson as my local team since moving to NC 10 years ago. I would love to see Grady playing for the Knights.

Davidson star Kellan Grady entered the transfer portal on Monday afternoon, joining the now over 700 names to enter the portal and ranks among the top to hit the market.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound shooting guard averaged 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists this season, shooting 38.2% from three.

Grady will become one of the more highly sought after transfers in the portal.

Stem, just curious, how did you adopt Davidson as your team and not UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, UNC-Charlotte, Duke, App State, etc.

Stem, just curious, how did you adopt Davidson as your team and not UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, UNC-Charlotte, Duke, App State, etc.

I live a few miles from the campus and started to go to games. After retirement from the Corporate world, I got a job working as an usher at their games and minor league baseball games, love sports and it keeps me busy. I got to see the RU women play at Davidson several years ago and at UNCC 4years ago as a fan. BTW: I could never root for UNC, Chapel Hill. One of my favorite RU football moments was driving down to UNC from NJ for the opener in 2006 and the goal line stand.

His running in portal also. Luke Loewe is about 6’4” and the best defender in the conference abd scores Between 24-15 ppg.

Almost 900 kids are in the portal. Few will ever play in the pros. I hope these families are keeping that in mind.
