They look very athletic. Don't know how they couldn't beat Charlotte but they are outclassing BC in terms of speed and holding up in the trenches.
David Beaty recruited some players.
They started turning the corner last year. Just need a better QB but he looks decent today.
Miles is going to continue Beaty's plan of recruiting overlooked players in Texas and Louisiana and try to grab a few decent ones while at it.

Thats first year coach Les Miles immediately correcting whatever happened last week.
Would like to see similar results by WVus coaching staff today. They inherited much better players than Miles did.
Definitely makes WVUs matchup with them look much more difficult.

I never ever thought I would type this: Now we have to worry about Kansas! Les Miles, after all, is the guy that beat Ohio State in 2007 with his LSU team to win the national title. Ouch! AT Kansas, too. For now, I'll see if North Carolina State beating two nothing teams so far and being young gives me a glimmer of hope as I head for Mountaineer Field for today's game. WVU needs a Miles improvement today.

KSU averaged in the 70's and still dominated WVU for the first 4 years and won the conference.
Buck is very selective. Dana is still great when lesser talented teams like KSU took WVU to the woodshed. Brown sucks when teams with "lesser" talent are doing better than WVU. Hypocrite. He can't see reason and will never grasp that Dana was never a quality power 5 HC. It was obvious when WVU regressed the first 4 years with Dana running the program and recruiting his players that he was in over his head. Last 4 seasons were him doing just enough to keep from getting fired and when Grier fell into his lap he saw a chance to maybe milk another contract extension. His need to keep from losing his job made him myopic where only the current season mattered. Hence WVU was not building a program or developing core players to be experienced starters and competent backups.
Have to win by any means necessary in this conference. You have to be willing to demand a program. West Virginia did when they fired the druggie. Probably was coaching high. You can tell by his play calling.
