The staff does deserve more credit for some of the pieces they brought in initially that really put them over the top. My main point though was I think a philosophy in recruiting offensive players and teaching them defense will serve the program better than recruiting active defensive players. What happens when you miss on talent in that case? You have a team full of guys who can’t make shots and don’t play defense.Huggins very recently spoke about how he and Roy Williams don’t recruit the same guys. Why not? All of the upper tier coaches with the big names are retiring. I get that it made sense 15-20 years ago but why doesn’t Huggins go after these kids now?</blockquote>
