Not sure if anyone has looked at any of their comments re: WV basketball but hilarious. Apparently we are "disgusting" to watch and we "don't play basketball". I realize they prefer a gentlemenly game of set shots on the Prairie but like we are supposed to abandon our rugged Big East style roots because Nels Oleson doesn't approve.

We split games with KU. They have no high ground on us. We get calls and KU doesn't. * laugh track*

We play the most interesting brand of basketball going. They live on out recruiting/spending people and running the same sets as 95% of basketball. Zzzzzzzz. Zzzzzzzz.

Kansas, WVU, Oklahoma, Texas, etc... fans' opinions are exactly worthless. Even one's that I agree with. So while I completely disagree with this particular opinion, I give it about as much credence as a pile of dog **** on the grass. Fans from every school are going to think down on WVU for a variety of reasons be they legit or otherwise. Giving asinine one's the dignity of a response is giving too much credit.

Ku fans know that we are changing the conference style of play and they will be left behind.

Having satellite radio, I sometimes catch WVU games on there... but they will often be carried by the opponent's radio network. I was listening to the WVU-Iowa State game a couple of weeks ago and wanted to let you know what Iowa State announcers said.

We always talk about how Big 12 refs call everything on WVU and seem to have a bias against us. Well... in the game I was listening to, an Iowa State player committed an offensive foul. The announcer said, "What do you expect? WVU clutches and grabs jerseys all game... and nothing is called on WVU." He went on to say he was talking to a prominent Big 12 basketball coach - and he said, "you can guess who it was" (Self?), and the announcer said this Big12 coach said, "there are 2 sets of rules in the Big 12; one set of rules for WVU when guarding... and one set of rules for the other nine schools."

I don't agree with this. But it was amazing how they see the situation 180 degrees out of phase from the way we see it. -Winter Tim
