I get it's a nice thing to be able to say but they've played several more years than us and have 150 more losses. We have the best all time win percentage and that is a much more impressive stat that factors in the difference in number of total years played.
Win% proves more but we would sound like such dorks talking about that instead of total wins. I’ll never talk about win% unless I’m talking to UK fans.
Call me crazy but I’d rather KU take all-time wins than have UCLA, UNC, or Duke add another title. Wins are much easier to make up ground with than titles.

To many players and coaches worked hard to get that record for social media wuss bags to be getting on here and downplaying it. Hopefully this gets turned around and we get it back. If you don’t care, that’s fine. Real Kentucky fans that bleed blue care.

You take that garbage/covid class out and he's averaging nearly 30 per year. You are one hopeless SOB bro, this isn't up for debate. The thread is about the all time win record. That includes, oddly enough if you believe it, all the wins, over all the years. They have more years than us and a whole lot more chances to win games. The last 100 years makes zero difference in an 'all time' record, you know, hence the 'all time' portion of it.
Loser programs point to distinguishing markers while champions bring home titles, records, and accomplishments.
If you want to point out the nuance of the Kansas/UK debate, that's fine, but there will only be a few people nationally that even attempt to follow that stream of thinking. Most will merely look at the fact that Kansas has passed us and is now #1 in wins.
Oh so Kansas didn’t have 150 more games played than UK when Cal took over in 2009? Of course they did and UK was still up by 18 wins on them. Calipari is 19 games behind Kansas during his tenure here.
Which is fine if they want to do that, but you have to use critical thinking when comparing things, pay attention to nuance and such. If the general populace and sports writer don't want to consider that, I don't really care, just more people to ignore, as without context their opinions are worthless.
Frankly, to even be close to Kansas with them playing 150ish more games than us is pretty impressive. The win percentage removes that disparity and clearly has UK on top.

We lost the lead because of what’s going on now. Because we went 9-16 last year. Because we haven’t won an NCAA tourney game in three years. The problem isn’t 1893. The problem is now.
