I am sure he got paid. He tried hard for us but could not put it together. I am sure he is NOT missing piece to get Georgetown to the tournament. Always hated the Hoyas and their current coach.

When I saw his list of potential landing spots for next year and RU was on this list….i was concerned. He wouldn’t be a net positive at RU this coming season.
Good chance he’s a net positive at GTown. My guess is he will be average at an average GTown team.

I mean - if we were getting a player with J Will credentials from Georgetown we’d probably consider them one of our best pick ups wouldn’t we?

Wish JWill an injury free season, congratulate him for getting his RU degree and hope he obtains a graduate school degree while playing for the Hoyas, but I'll let Hoya fans root him as a ployer because he decided to go to thir school . I'll root for him to use his RU degree to get ahead in the business world once his sports career is over

(note:Ahead of the 2022-23 season, Williams transfered to Iowa State from Temple , where he suffered a left Achilles tendon injury in practice and missed the entire 2022-23 season, never appearing in a game for the Cyclones. He then jumped to Rutgers and after settling a legal matter became a vital part of the team

Was he a business major ?
I imagine the Georgetown degree might be more valuable than the Rutgers one right out of school

First he has to get the GTown degree to say it's more valuable than the Rutgers degree his earned in the two years he was at Rutgers .
You were the one that touted his earning an RU Degree, don't you know? I consider any type of ( legal) employment , outside of being a professional athlete , being part of the business world . So that's why I'm hoping his RU Degree helps him succeed in opening the door to earning a good living . A GTown degree added to the RU one probably will make JWill's door to success after his athletic career ends be opened wider in whatever type of employment he applies for

Last season felt like a bad fit for JWill here on top of his somewhat disappointing play. I could see him going back to 12/4/3 at Gtown, good pickup for them if he's not your top 2/3 player
Agree . I wonder if he will be a captain there

From Temple to Rutgers and on to Georgetown, JWill is just another traveling man who played hard and helped RU when he was a Starlet Knight, but now belongs to GTown.
I appreciated how he played hard and helped RUMBB while he was a member of the team and gained an RU degree.
But not being a Hoya fan I'll let the GTown fanbase wish him a productive season and I'll wish him an injury free season and a chance to play pro after he leaves there .
Also hope JWill gets a graduate degree at Georgetown

I like JWill. I have no idea what he spent all last summer on. Left handed floaters? There was zero improvement for all of that hard work. I can't help but wonder what the staff is doing because we rarely see a kid show improvement year over year.

Needs a makeover on the 3 pointer and MUST fix the slipping. I've seen less slipping on the slippery elementary school gyms.
