Nebraska should beat Illinois, and I'm guilty of looking ahead only because the runaway train that is Ohio State will smash into Lincoln and leave some destruction in two weeks.

NIU gave Utah a pretty good game. Score comparisons aren’t perfect, but NIU was a respectable opponent. The offensive line needs work but we knew that. The skill guys had by far their best game. And the defense is fairly salty and continuing to improve. Ohio state could be rough, but we’re moving in the right direction
