Just looking down this board is a pretty good indicator

of far the interest in football has fallen off in such a short period of time. I'm afraid it'll get worse before it gets better.

I think a lot of it is Moorhead apathy. There's been very little excitement for this football season from the beginning.

Based on the number of tents going up in the junction, the interest in this game is equal to or less than most G5 and FCS opponents everybody complains about.

You would think all those who only want to see us get our asses kicked by the high profile teams 7 times per year at home would be all over this one..... if you are into the #assgettingkickedkindofthing

I think the UT game broke the fan base. Looking that unprepared after a bye is tough to handle. It was the anvil that broke the camel's back.

To me, I don't feel that Moorhead is apathetic. I just view him as a floundering fish that's completely out of water, and he has no idea as to what level to pull at this point.

Agree about the UT game, though. That was undoubtedly the point when I felt the season was unsalvageable.

My apathy was there before the season even started. After last season I just couldn’t get excited about this season. I have as much care to watch tomorrow’s game as I would Jxn state vs ms valley.

Kstate did it for me. I have tix to all home games and I’m invested in one of the large tents for tailgating. I haven’t been back to campus for a game since Kstate. I was bothered after I left the ULL game and I was more bothered by the Kstate game. Say what u will about me but I invest my money and I go to games to see a competitive team. I can socialize here at home. I’m already invested to the tune of about $6800 per season. The way I see it, No need in making it worse. I cut my losses long ago and started working on food plots and stand placement.

I suggest you to Mississippi Memorial Stadium today then. Football won’t be much to watch but the JSU vs Southern University battle of the bands at halftime should be epic!!!
