KJ misses a sure INT in his hands. Love the guy but hate he missed both INT’s. He makes the 1st INT and I feel Auburn doesn’t win the NC.

That was Corey Broomfield.

For years, I thought that was KJ.....Are you sure that was Cory? The pass I’m talking about was close in on the line of scrimmage (seemed like it was in the backfield actually).....I could be totally off - I just remember a pass that went through the hands of one of our guys...Our guy jumped a screen pass but he wasn’t covering anyone cause he was rushing the passer.

I don’t know......I always thought it was KJ but I am getting into my 50’s now and could be wrong.

Anyone else remember the play I’m referencing?

Could’ve been a pick six

KJ might have missed one too. I just remember Broomfield missing one that a 7 year old would have trouble missing, with nothing but 40 yards of grass in front of him.

SHOULD HAVE definitely been a pick 6
Wasn’t KJ for sure. Was a CB and Broomfield was, as someone else said, who missed it I believe.

The wide open pass late in the 4th quarter our juco WR dropped (Banks?) is the one play that haunts me from that game.

Thanks for setting me straight guys....all these years, I thought it was KJ that missed the INT. I also thought the play was closer in towards the backfield as well.

This getting old thing sucks....

It was Cory Broomfield. Could've ran to West Point with the ball before being caught. That was one of the more infuriating games of the Mullen era because I felt like we were the better team that night.

I think Joe was referring to the dropped pass by Berry, not the dropped INT.

Berry took that loss hard. Crying in the postgame, but Broomfield had the easier play. How in the world did he drop that?
