Because sometimes, even when you know something happened, you dont have enough evidence to prove the case and you cant proceed.

Yeah, but I'd rather live in a system that lets guilty people walk sometimes instead of putting innocent people in prison. Although that still happens too often too.
I wouldn't call this exonerated either. It could always pop up again later since it never went to trial.

Just reported that he is forfeiting his bail money $10,000 and have already completed community service. The PA (Kim Fox who has already recused herself, but is now back in charge?) is saying that since he would have only received community service, they are dropping the charges.
If this is true, this is more about a liberal city dropping charges so that he can live another day but in reality he admitted guilt and this was the most liberal way to move forward.

Basically the DA said he forfeited bail and he would have only gotten community service if found guilty and since he has already done community service they dropped the charges.
I agree with the pundits that say that if he comes out and is contrite and wanting to move forward, that pretty much tells the rest of the story. If he comes out and doubles down, it will be interesting to see how the CPD reacts to it
