Watched some of that game. He looked good, with 15 points and 5 boards in a Tulsa win. He also had the second most PT at 25 minutes.

would have liked him on our team last year...think he could have made a difference in a couple of our close losses, and maybe we end up .500 or better

I always though Etou had had what it took to be a really good college player. Good combination of size, athleticism, and strength.

I remember Eddie Jordan saying in Etou's last season at RU that he was already an NBA level defender. Now was some of that just hype? I'm sure but anyone can see that the kid had some potential to be a true impact player

As far as him being a cancer..his body language was certainly not the best and at times down right bad. Gotta think this current coaching staff would of been able to fix some of that as they seem to have a more no nonsense approach and demands a lot more out of the players than the previous staff. But oh well, good to see him excelling and playing up to his potential now

TruJerz beat me to it, so yes, what he said. His final year here, he flat out quit in some games. When the going got tough, he quit... during games! That behavior and attitude are contagious. Especially for a team that we know will face adversity.
