Posted this in the ECU thread, but it kind of got buried in there.

Why don’t our Jumbotron replay people ever show replays of controversial calls? Is there some sort of NCAA rules against it? When they don’t show them it doesn’t even give us a chance to boo...

Doesn’t even matter if the call was incorrect or not, the boos working on the refs are part of the home court advantage.

I know some of the TU A/V-type people read these boards. Can someone please talk to whoever you need to talk to about this?

Don’t know. Other AAC schools show them. We do see some of those though

When we played Wichita, the Shocker fan was amazed our poorly we used instant replays. He said, if they did that poor of job in Wichita that they would be fired. He thought our lack of significant replays actually took our fans out of the game.

I completely agree. Our crowd needs to learn how to be a crowd in general. We were sitting on our asses with 4 minutes to go in that game. Especially given how close that game was, I don't know how you could have been sitting down. I will never understand why you go to a live sporting event and just want to sit there never stand up. That is just me though.

Some of us have trouble standing up. I’ll come to my feet for a big play and I make noise to try and pump up the team but if the crowd around me decides to stand up for 10 minutes it just means I’m missing the game.

Same thing happens at the TU football games. I've been to several games at OSU & Washington State the last few years and they show the controversial calls. Wish TU did

I actually asked this in my post season survey. I was curious if their is a conference rule on letting the fans see the videos during an official review or if we are just understaffed or lazy in that department.
