Jumbotron Replays Last Night.

Last night was my first game in Davis Wade this season. What is the deal with the lack of replays on the jumbotron? This has never been an issue before. Has this been going on all year?

I thought the same thing. They failed to show a replay of the targeting call and the punt return where our player was blocked in the back.

I have no idea why, and no this hasn't been the case all year.

They have been doing this for years now. They don’t show a lot of controversial replays.

They have been doing this for years now. They don’t show a lot of controversial replays.

It wasn’t just controversial calls. Big plays by our offense or defense weren’t even shown. I would look up at the Jumbotron…. and nothing.

I’m having to rewind TV games more and more I’ve noticed lately, because they aren’t showing them like they used to either. I understand why they don’t show them much anymore on injuries, although I disagree, I understand, but controversial plays and penalties should be replayed.

Went to Vandy game last week. They don’t have much of a team or fan support, but they were very good with the replays

That was not normal. Not sure what was going on, but there was a severe lack of replays on everything. Strange

I think the game day product is just not what it was. The end zone painting is not Maroon. Issues just trickle down

Concur, long time season ticket holder, the last two years have been terrible for replays. It was understandable last year, but it is inexcusable this year. We really need fresh leadership in game management operations.

Next year, we need to have a have a change in ticket methodology. Upper deck tickets should be very low cost for bulldog club members, or if one buys premium tickets, offer additional upper deck tickets at a deep discount. We need to do something to get more people in the upper decks, last night was an embarrassment for the biggest home game of the year.

I concur. I often wonder why the Athletic Department doesn't have a huge discount for upper level seating to get more folks in the stands. Also the replays have sucked for a few years. If I can get the ESPN app to work on my phone I typically have the game going on it also so I can look at replays.

If they want to know one of the reasons fewer people are going to the games its because when I go to the game I can't tell what the crap is going on half the time. No replays on anything being reviewed and for some stupid reason, whenever MSU kicks a FG they refuse to show the angle from behind the kicker on the jumbotron (they did show it when KY kicked). I had no clue on the Ruiz miss of the 47 yarder where it went. Pretty sad when you have to text someone that is watching the game at home to find out what happened because you are stuck AT the game with no information.

During the Alabama game we got to see it on the Jumbo Tron. The late hit was not a late hit. The refs were in huddle when we started to boo they picked the flag up and said no penalty. Every game before we got to see the replay. This past week we did not. I think it is the SEC stopping it. There should be an explanation. If the Refs are so thin skin they can't take the booing they should hang up their striped shirt.
