All the other schools had one thing in common, they have payrolls. Pike made a daily call to Riley and his father for months. Guess green trumps familiarity. You just go on to next option. Staff probably realized this as they have offered or followed Malachi Smith, Josh Baker and Pruitt in last few weeks along with Nixon and Sharpe. I don’t see SJU and Hoyas as good choices for him. SHU just isn’t there yet and Hoyas get a lot of defections so something is wrong there.
