Stetson head coach Donnie Jones may have recruited Mitchell to Florida when Jones was a Billy Donovan assistant.

Word I'm hearing is that Mitchell will serve as the No. 3 assistant as well as Director of Operations. Stetson's budget pool for assistants is not very large and Brendan Surh didn't come cheap.
