Romo hits 3 of 3 field goals plus the game winning extra point.

Note to the Cardinals - kicking a late field goal when you are already up by 3 is the worst strategy in football.

I thought he was the TU guy who had a part in one of those soap operas. John Parker Romo has a daytime tv ring to it.

I don't remember his name? When did he play here?
He was here in 2018 then transferred to Va Tech. He mostly handled kickoffs for us.

The thing I remember most about him was the very large group of family and friends that attended those games. They all wore his jersey and went crazy every time he put one into the end zone.

They even went to the road game in Fayetteville. We got shut out that day so he only got to kick once.

2018. One season. Transferred to Va Tech. He took over place kicking towards the end of the season and was inconsistent. PM flipped back and forth with Walker. Him leaving started a several year unstable kicking situation that drove some of you crazy.

Thanks. Him taking over towards the end of the season was probably why I didn't have his name situated in my memory. I'm surprised that him sharing a last name with Tony Romo didn't help me to remember it, even for a short time as a starting kicker.

He missed two game winners iirc. I’d have to go look. You’d probably instantly remember the games, but not who missed the kick,

He also got a shot in the Texas game after Walker missed his first 3 kicks. Same spot twice in a row from 36 yards out facing the North endzone. Wasn't even close.
