I have to think at a minimum travel will be reduced and teams will play closer to home. That could lead to conf teams playing one another earlier on in the tourney and some loaded (and some unloaded) brackets.
Look at you Grf , still think the team that beat Duke on their home floor , one game after Rutgers beat them , and has gone on to their record, absolutely sucks. So typical of you.

The main reason was eliminating the pre 2020 way of looking at things. Moral victories. We beat B and B beat C so we aren't that far away from C.
We were 19-1 at home and had outstanding wins. I don't care about the fact that we beat a lower conference team that happened to beat Duke.
