Amazing to watch an OL that doesn't let the pocket collapse even on a 3-man rush :p Burrow completing a pass to himself for ~15 yards was also pretty athletic RollingLaugh I hope he lays it on UGA, don't like them for. . .reasons.

Heard he wanted to come to Nebraska.

We didn't want him anyway.

Haven't you heard....he overrated and the ONLY reason he is any good is because he has great receivers to throw too.

Yea I know LSU has had NFL receivers for the last 10 years and didn't win jack but hey it's cool story....‍♂️

Dude is the definition of confidence and calm. Pretty painful knowing how bad he wanted to be here. That’s how thin the line is between success and mediocrity.

LSU = success. I think we know which program is mediocre.

He has all day to throw... he would be dead man walking behind our line...

Honest question, how do we think a healthy Martinez would do in his spot?

What game are you watching? He has thrown 25 passes and been hurried 10 times! The only reason he still standing upright is because he can make moves, he is elusive, quick first step and he is tough and decisive...

He has much more time than Martinez ever has and he is playing against the fastest defense in the country. He would get hit over and over just like Martinez and get ground down... unless you are saying he would avoid every rush...

Without him, they wouldn’t be in this game. And with him we would’ve won 9-10 games with our schedule.
I thought we lost because of the coaching? So are we saying that is we had better talent we would win more games?

By the way: Baylor DL James Lynch’s middle name is Husker. His dad was a walk-on LB at Nebraska. He always dreamed of playing there, never got an offer.

Not that great. Joe has a very high IQ while Adrian doesn’t. Joe is a few years older though so we have to keep that in consideration.

Let’s be honest if he were here Frost would still be starting Martinez anyways because that’s his ride or die QB. He could have came here rode the bench and been an undrafted free agent in the NFL. Instead he lucked out at LSU and now is probably going no.1 overall

Yeah, good idea, let’s be honest. If Joe Burrow were at Nebraska, no way would he ride the bench all season this year. He would have been the guy. Are you watching him tonight? Have you seen him all year? Frost is going to bench the best player who, arguably, has ever played the QB position?

Even if you believe this to be true, there is no way to prove it. Grind your axe somewhere else.

Joe Burrow doesn't develop like he has if he came to Nebraska. That LSU offense really took off once they got Joe Brady.

He has played against 5 teams ranked in the top 10 at game time and has faced tremendous pressure while getting sacked and hit. Beat all of them. Martinez has had some clean pockets against a significantly easier schedule.

At Texas. Florida. Auburn. at Alabama. Vs Georgia in Atlanta. Martinez at LSU would get smoked

Only thing saving Martinez is that he’s a few years younger. Burrow wasn’t this good when he was 19 or 20.

Great player. I will be so happy when he goes pro so this topic doesn’t have to come up every other day.

Does he become the best QB ever if he is never given a chance? He was not the best QB to ever play before this season and obviously Frost thought that too by turning him down. You can’t say because he is doing great at LSU this year when given a chance that it would translate to the same success here.

Plus we have seen Frost refuse to bench AM for any reason so yes Burrow probably would never see enough playing time to ever make a difference.
